There are many reasons to consider breastfeeding for you and your baby. Did you know that not breastfeeding increases the risk of certain illnesses and infections?

Human milk is species specific; this means that human babies are designed to receive human milk. Your milk is tailor made for your baby and changes to your baby’s changing needs, for example if you develop a cough or a cold your body will produce antibodies in your milk to fight that infection and reduce your baby’s chance of becoming unwell.
